I took my first photography class in elementary school at Knox College for Kids. It was a summer program offering courses in subjects such as chemistry and photography and everything in-between. I took both. Foreshadowing? Perhaps. I bought my first big-girl camera after graduating pharmacy school and it traveled with me everywhere.

It wasn't until our first child was born that I started entertaining the idea of sharing this hobby with friends and family. I stepped down from management and stepped back into photography while I was home with our daughter. As the sayings go - babies don't keep and time is a thief. While I was capturing our own family milestones, I started snapping pics for loved ones, too. "All we need is a few!" we'd say while capturing family, maternity, newborn and engagement photos to hang on the walls or upload to a keepsake album. Amidst life's quickly changing seasons, I love freezing little moments we never want to forget.

Capturing the connection of loved ones in front of the camera is bliss. I am genuinely honored when a client welcomes me into their raw, authentic emotions and space. It feels like getting a sneak peak at a manuscript, the story of your life you're writing in real time. I am all about the play and fun! At a shoot you will definitely see me skipping rocks (horribly), climbing on the log, smiling, laughing and dancing right along with you! I want to capture the real smiles, the unique personalities and the dynamic connection that is authentically you.
